The development was conceived as an urban regeneration block, in the heart of the historical centre of Bucharest. It includes a new-build hotel and high-rise offices, a visitors’ reception centre in an existing listed building, , refurbished 18th C retail spaces, a conference centre, and extensive underground parking facilities. The practice produced the concept design and urban master plan and acted as development consultants and client representative, for and on behalf of Charter Europe Plc., (part of the Charter Group of companies). With our Romanian affiliated office, we led the negotiations with the Romanian central and local government authorities.
